The November 2021 club A.G.M. decided to scrap the class of SCX German Touring Cars and replace it with the much faster NSR Formula 1 cars. This car is a model of no particular racing car from the late 1980s but has a very reasonable likeness to many cars from that era of Grand Prix racing.
To their credit NSR produce this model in various accurate racing liveries including Ferrari, Williams, Brabham, Lotus, March and even much more obscure team colours like the Beatrice Lola, Larrousse and even the orange Jagermeister sponsored Eurobrun. In addition, it is possible to purchase plain coloured cars including white to which members can then add copies of real racing liveries or indeed, their own personal colours, even pink.
These cars were first run in February of 2022 and the general feeling of those present was very positive. They might be around for years..... maybe. Click here to return to the Club Cars index page. |
